The Meal this year: Dark Meat Chicken
Items to bring:
Ladies
Please bring 2 pies or 2 cakes or $10.00 for the picnic dinner.
Please bring 1 cake for the cake walk.
Men
Please bring a 12 pack of Beer for the Beer Garden.

The Schedule for Sat., August 17th , 2024
2:30 -3:30 - Confessions
3:30 - Carry-out Dinners may be picked up
4:00 - Mass begins - Dinner starts being served
5:00 - Mass finishes (this is approximately)
- Bingo, Garage Sale & Outside activities start
7:00 - Dinner closes
8:00 - Games outside close-- Bingo will remain operating till about 8:30
- Clean up and break down - everyone needs help
10:00 - Beer Garden closes and the Music stops
Mass that day beginning at 4 pm instead of 5 pm w/ Confession before Mass
- This allows us to start our picnic with the most important element of our Catholic Beliefs, Jesus Christ coming to the alter Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.
Chicken Dinner is only DARK MEAT
- To include white meat, we would have to raise the price to make money at our FUNDRAISER. The Picnic is the only fundraiser that is specifically for the Church and its continued existence.
- We must take care of the people in our community. To put it in perspective, in June, Harvesters served over 160 households! To be Catholic, one must have Faith, keep Hope and especially do CHARITY!
Everything outside has moved
- The events outside are in the grass area East of the Centennial Building and South of the School. We will use tents and benches to add shade and seating.
- The Parking Lot will be used as an actual parking lot. There will still be some parking on the East side of the field, but only use if no other parking is available.
Pop Stand and Beer Garden are becoming a “Concession Stand”
- The Beer Garden and Pop Stand are now combined with Hot Dogs, Chips and Cookies.
- The Beer will be by “Free Will Donation” with a suggested price of $3.
Signup Sheets in back of Church and Online
- We are using Signup Genius for online signup.
- Everyone in 5th grade and older should be signing up.
- There will be no calling so take the initiative to sign up and help your parish.
High School Scavenger Hunt
- This was added to give our youth something fun for them. It will take you around campus finding different things and learning along the way. Do it as a team or individually. Take your time everyone that completes it will get a prize. Remember to read everything it will help!!
